Site: French Shorthand Blog

Hi folks, Baobab here! I’ve just created a shorthand blog in French. It has stories and famous speeches written in French Gregg shorthand (par moi!) and the keys in regular French underneath. Right now, my shorthand is not at the point yet where it should be even looked at, let alone read but one day I hope to be able to churn out readable texts for your enjoyment.

I’ll also make a page soon with information on learning French Gregg shorthand, with examples and images and crazy stuff like that. I’m learning English Gregg too (slowly) so I could do one in English in a few months if there is enough interest.

It seems that not many of you speak or read French. We haven’t had much success with the site at all. As a result, we will be taking down the French site in one week’s time. Until then, if any of you have objections, please say so in the comments. Thanks!

Preview: Kantaloupe in French!

We are currently planning a French site to go along with this blog. It will have all the same features, and the same articles. We will do our best to make sure that the translations stay true, and that the experience of the blog does not change. There may be a short delay between the French site and the English one, because we are personally translating everything.

I (Baobab) will mostly be responsible for the translations. The site should be up soon (within a week or so), if everything goes as planned.
